“Oh Miss Bang!” Baby Tooth wrapped her arms round the woman’s neck in a hug. “Don’t cry! It’ll be alright! Soon you’ll be back to your normal, large self!” She flew up to meet Big Bang’s eyes. “Don’t ever call a human inferior, though Miss Bang. They may be small, but each has their own huge potential for good and greatness. They can foster hope and inspire it in other, reach out and connect with each other and band together against adversity. Without them, I would not exist… And I don’t think you would have a reason to exist either.”
She blinked at the smaller creature, eyes wide. Humans or any of her other subjects never spoke to her in such a way. She found her eyes brimming over at the embrace, and her arms reached up to accept the gesture.
“Thank you…I am sorry for what I said. Being creator of all, I often am overlooked or unappreciated, and it makes me angry.”
“That is merely because people struggle to understand you, your presence is rarely felt among humans because so many generations have lived and stories begin to lose their authenticity. It is not out of spite nor intent, merely the fact that they focus on enjoying what a wonderful short life you’ve given them. Think of a secret admirer, who sends a letter telling you that you are beautiful. You appreciate the kinds words and act, yet don’t know who or how to thank the person.”
She takes a deep breath. “I won’t over look you Miss Bang. I promise! Thank you so much for what you’ve done!”
Big Bang smiled for the first time since she could remember the word being created.
“I would much like to stay in this place for awhile,” she told the other. “Except…I do not know where I am.”
She blinks silently at the woman, giving her a moment to think. “So you’re the personification of the beginning of creation?” Baby Tooth stopped and let it sink in.
“That’s amazing! What can you do? What do you remember? How old are you?”
“I…I came into contact with my children a few weeks back, and earlier somebody told me I would become human for a few hours…” she trailed off once more. “This isn’t me. I don’t know. All I remember is a flash of light and suddenly I was in this place, in this human body…no longer shouting messages from the farthest reaches of existence… I am as old as time itself, and I do not understand the concept of this inferior being.” She felt her eyes burn, but Big Bang did not understand why they were doing as such.

Big Bang looked down at herself in wonder, eying the limbs that moved around her as she directed her eyesight towards them. Her long hair, the color of the farthest nebula from the origin, fell past her shoulders. She stared down at her feet, wondering if she dared take a step. Deciding it couldn’t be worse than standing for the next three hours, she lifted a foot and tried to take a step forward. Her legs, shaky and new, buckled underneath her and she fell.
“Miss? Are you alright?” Called Baby Tooth, noticing the young woman in trouble as she went about her work. “My name is Baby Tooth, what’s yours?”
“I AM THE - oh,” She stopped herself, surprised at the force her voice had. She hoped she hadn’t startled the woman in front of her. With a deep breath into new lungs that felt right but strange, she tried again.
“I am the Big Bang. It is nice to meet you, my child. I am not steady upon these limbs, as this is not my usual form.”
“Oh, hello Miss Big Bang.” She offered her hand to assist, regardless of her size. “I know the feeling. Human curses are difficult to adjust to.”
Baby Tooth looked down shyly. “And, what exactly is your normal form Miss Big Bang?”
Big Bang looked at her with what she thought was desperation.
“I…I am the ruler of all! The creator! The reason you are standing today! I began everything and everything is from me! I was everything…and nothing…” She trailed off with a sigh, twisting the limbs humans called hands around each other. This body…it wasn’t her. It didn’t feel right. Oh, where was Universe…
